English writing

People behind me are talking elongation factors, which is an idea from molecular biology. I’m typing this is due to create a first writing in the “serious English writing” catalogue, while suffering in severely allergic to Spring pollen. Definitely, I’m doing something special which is normally not be done by Chinese students in US, except some literature major students or JDs. But JD student might be too busy to write casually, nor did literature students have such terrible writing as me. Therefore, I do consider the writing like this is weird.

When I first consider to practice my English writing, I was only think about the potential usage of this language. I mean, to make law career as part of a personal life, a good English writing skill is necessary. However, this thought might be too utilitarianism to improve the real ability of operating this cultural tool. I start to think as a native English speaking since the logic behind this language is different from Chinese. This days during my study of LSAT, I did think a lot (which might not be the suitable thing to do during the high-tense study) about this language. (Here should be some high level words coming out to present the writer’s profound ideas, unfortunately, the writer haven’t managed enough words yet.)

I noticed that English is quit different from Chinese, since each Chinese word, or character, could represent at least a single meaning, but each letter could only play a role of pronunciation component. Each Chinese word could be expressed by a single syllable but represent a complex meaning based on the writing of the word, which is actually a picture. However, the English need several syllables to create a word to make a “word”. Obviously, the efficiency and efficacy of Chinese is much better than that of English, and this subtle difference will be aggregated in comparison of longer paragraphs expressing the same ideas.

Other than that, to consider Korean and Japanese are also somehow using “pronunciation-indicating” method of language other than the “meaning-indicating” method of Chinese, Korean and Japanese or even Arabic languages might probably be easily learned or used but won’t be as either time-saving or spacing-saving as Chinese. (In this case, is it possible that Chinese may contain more meanings within limited words, so that it makes Chinese more careful on talking and behavior? — and which make Chinese a little bit , culturally different? Be a little more complicated than other? More like pholosophers? If, we found that ancients from different regions of the world had thought similar questions and offered similar answers, could we consider the efficiency and efficacy of thinking was similar. Then, the tool of thinking, language, logic , why those things bring such great differences?— which make Chinese or Asian’s more sensitive or more, meta-philosophical, while western countries more logical? Why today the most meta-philosophical, which in my opinion is more like religion-believers……no, it is not right, because you don’t have data to show which region of people have the larger population of theists)

This is quite interesting. As a beginning of a serious writing, I think, it’s fine so far based on my English strength temporary.
